2027 Featured Tractor
Minneapolis Moline Z 1947
Restored prior to 2020
Owner: Patrick Tvrdy, Wahoo, NE
Patrick received this tractor as a gift from his uncle, Dennis Tvrdy, around 2022. It’s similar to the Z that his grandfather, Adolph Tvrdy, owned, and features large, flat headlight lenses. Since receiving it, Patrick has taken it on tractor rides and to tractor pulls. It has also attended Camp Creek every year, where it has been used for plowing and in the Parade of Power. Patrick has repaired the transmission.

A line of antique, stationary gas engines (often “hit-and-miss” engines) sold by the Moline Plow Company in the early 1900s.

Camp Creek Threshers Showgrounds feature over a dozen historic buildings including a schoolhouse, church, general store, and blacksmith shop, with recent additions like a working corn crib and HP Steam Driven air compressor offering live demonstrations.
